Contemporary designer Alexander Wang is spreading his wings and adding swimwear to his fashion line.
The New Yorker is planning an edgy swimsuit line characterized by plenty of revealing cut-outs and athletic lines. The move to swimwear should be a natural one for Wang, as the bodysuits in his spring-summer collection from 2009 looked an awful lot like one-piece bathing suits. In fact, I wonder why it’s taken him so long to take the plunge!

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.
But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.
The swimsuits will be part of Wang’s next Cruise collection, but we’ll need to wait a few months to see what they look like. A menswear collection, slated to launch next month, is the next new line for the darling of the fashion circuit.
No prices or images are available at this point, so we’re left to speculate. I’ve always love Wang’s bold, daring designs and I’m thrilled at the prospect of him bringing that drama to the beach. I just hope that they’re not only athletic in looks. So many fashion designers create swimsuits that look good, but don’t work for water lovers. I really hope these aren’t the kind of swimsuits only suitable for lounging about in a deck chair.
