That back to basics approach may disappoint fashion snobs, but it’s actually very smart. The leatherette trim and vibrant colored pattern dress the sack fabric up without driving the price sky high.

This beach bag is enormous, so you should have no problems fitting your thick velour towel, flip flops, and the latest issue of your favorite fashion magazine inside. Given its size some organizational pockets would have come in handy, but their absence isn’t entirely unexpected in a beach bag. I’m more concerned with the lack of closure. On the plus side, we can over stuff it without worrying about breaking a zip. But it’d be nice to have a place for storing valuables away from prying eyes.
Billabong has skimped on the details here, but for the price I don’t mind too much. At $39.99, this Day Tripper bag is an affordable and stylish way to tote your essentials to the shore.
