Bottega Veneta is celebrating Palm Beach’s 100th anniversary with a limited edition beach-ready capsule collection. The fashion house’s creative director Tomas Maier spends much of his time in the South Florida city, and is clearly attached to the place he calls his “adopted home.”
I love bikinis. My favorite place to shop for bikinis is Amazon. You'll find on Amazon a great variety of high quality bikinis. Many of them from recognized brands.
There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.
But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.
“Palm Beach is a unique community,” Maier explained, “with a remarkable spirit of invention. I moved to Florida from Paris in 1999 and instantly fell in love with the beauty of the city.“
There are five pieces in the collection, each rendered in the bright Empire blue of Florida’s waves. The first is handbag made of Bottega Veneta’s signature intrecciato nappa leather and canvas. The casual purse is fringed by hand, and perfect for resort wear. I’d keep it away from the waves though; just 20 of these bags were made so one will cost you a whopping $2750.
Slightly more affordable but no less exorbitant is the beach towel. It’s luxuriously plush, but I can’t imagine spending $590 on a towel, no matter who designed it!
There’s also a pair of half-body sunglasses with the words Palm Beach 100 laser-etched on the temple, a wallet made from antique lizard, and a matching shell-shaped keychain.
These pieces are clearly for folks who have more dollars than sense, but if you’ve got cash to burn you can find them at Bottega Veneta’s Palm Beach boutique.
