All too often rash guards look masculine and a bit boring. But Carve Designs shows us we needn’t sacrifice style when we’re being sun smart with this Sunblocker swim shirt.
This rash guard is unashamedly girly, with its screenprinted coral pink accents and scrawling Carve Designs logo. Those clusters of tiny triangles are continued on the back of the rash guard, where I think they start to appear a bit busy. However when you’re taking it in from the front the Sunblocker’s design is just right.

Thankfully the Sunblocker lives up to its name. The blend of nylon and spandex gives this rash guard 99% UVA/UVB protection. Before you bemoan that missing 1%, remember that any rash shirt with an ultra-violet rating of 98 or 99% is considered highly protective.
The long sleeves and high neck also help the Sunblocker offer more protection than the average swim suit. But remember that no matter how much coverage this shirt provides, you’ll still need to worry about exposed skin. Remember to slap the sunscreen onto your hands, legs, and face to ensure you stay really safe.
At $61.95 this Carve Designs swim shirt isn’t cheap, but its quality definitely justifies the outlay.
