Stripes and studs give this bold Cabana bandeau from Ella Moss some real style.
The diagonal stripes in vivid red and blue are the first element that draws the eye. But look closer and you’ll see a smattering of brass studs along the border of this bikini top. Ella Moss chooses a mix of traditional round and boxy diamond studs here. If they were applied more liberally the various shapes could have been too much, but here they add just the right amount of quirk.

I really like the look of this bandeau style bikini, but I’m not sure how practical it is. The unique string configuration might look appealing, but it won’t offer a lot of support. With underwire also absent I’m not really sure what would keep this bandeau in place. I’d personally be a bit nervous about wearing it in the waves!
If you’re not an active beachgoer though, the Cabana’s limitations won’t worry you. It’ll certainly attract admiring gazes, particularly if you adjust the tunnel front strings to show off a little more skin!
This swimsuit will need to be handled gently if you want it to keep its colors though. Ella Moss recommends hand washing in cold water, which is more effort than most of us want to expend on a summer holiday. Do you think it’s worth the effort?
