I always appreciate the classic combination of black and white colors, but I’m less enthusiastic about the print. The abstract dot pattern is interesting, but it looks a bit dated. And if it’s dated now, you can only guess how out of vogue it’ll appear after a few summers. Of course if you don’t care to follow fashion then you won’t mind if it starts to look a little tired.

While the pattern might age, the Harmony itself isn’t likely to. Gottex swimsuits are always feats of engineering, and this one is no exception. Cups in the bust add curves, while supportive reinforcements around the tummy streamline the body. These hidden features help to create an enviable beach figure, which is accentuated by the Harmony’s Sweetheart neckline and sexy scoop back.
The Harmony does require some substantial upkeep to ensure it survives a few summers though. The blend of polyesteramid and elastane must be hand washed in a mild soap and lukewarm water. You’ll need to dry it in a shady spot, rather than in full sun, and you can’t wring it out to speed up the process. That’s disappointing for anyone who loves to take a morning dip and another in the afternoon, but it shouldn’t concern casual beachgoers.
