While there probably aren’t many underwater runways in Miami, fashion industry favorite Make Up For Ever is highlighting their Aqua waterproof line at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Swim which runs July 15 – 19. (We’ll totally be bringing you all the swimwear scoop!) As the makeup sponsor, a lot of swimwear designers will be using the brand’s products on their models.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.
But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.
The range includes Aqua Eyes liner, Aqua Lip, Aqua Smoky Lash, Aqua Black and Aqua Creamliner. The model at right is wearing Aqua Eyes in #7L a terrific pool blue for a techno bright rim of color, but you can also smudge it all over your lids for a long-lasting eye shadow alternative. The eyeliner comes in a virtual rainbow of shades since it’s often used on photo shoots.
The biggest downside to waterproof makeup is how hard it is to remove. You don’t want to be left with turquoise eyelids for days, and waterproof mascara in particular is a toughie.
Being sort of insidery, Make Up For Ever also isn’t available everywhere but you’ll find it at Sephora, natch. The products range from $17 to the mid-$20 area, which is pricey, but they do last a long time and you’ll notice the higher quality if you’re used to drug store fare.
