Project Runway runner-up Mondo Guerra has teamed up with Piperlime for a range of limited edition T-shirts. A generous $20 from the sale of each $50 T-shirt will benefit amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research.

Guerra is HIV positive himself and a vocal supporter of AIDS research charities. He’s created two T-shirt designs: one has a bold, colorful skull, while the other has a tree graphic and a powerful “Vive y Ama” slogan, which translates to “Live and Love.”
“I believe fashion can serve a purpose so I designed these T-shirts with the idea of loving and communicating with one another,” said Guerra. “The tree is a symbol of growth and loving yourself and the skull represents family and friends and remembering those who have passed.“
“We were moved by Mondo’s revelations on the show and completely inspired by his designs,” added Piperlime’s marketing vice president Jennifer Olsen. “We saw this as an amazing opportunity to bring his unique talent to his many fans and share his message.“
The T-shirts will be available from Piperlime tomorrow in conjunction with Worlds AIDS Day. There are just 300 of each design, so if you want to be seen wearing one to the beach you’ll need to snap it up quickly.
