I don’t have a problem with the frilly and fussy accents up top, but I think all that shirring overcomplicates the Madison Avenue’s busy floral print. However I concede that it does wonders for the figure. If you’re still carrying a few extra Christmas pounds, all that ruching should hide them.
It seems a little generous to call the Madison Avenue a swim dress though. It’s so short that it’s little more than a tankini! That will worry anyone that’s self-conscious about their figure. But if you’ve got impressive pins and the confidence to match them, you’ll be thrilled at the way the Madison Avenue turns heads.
At $164 this Nanette Lepore swim dress is on the expensive side, but New York City style never comes cheaply!
