Nautica’s done away with the traditional shoestring straps, preferring to trade them in for more substantial wide straps. These straps become an aesthetic feature in contrasting white, rather than simply a functional element. The beach season is relatively short after all, particularly if you don’t live on the coast. That means most of us want to get at least a few summers from our swimsuit, and we can here. At least we can if we treat this Nautica swimsuit right. You’ll need to wash it by hand in cold water, and then hang it out to dry, but I think it’s worth the effort.
After all, it’s hard for curvy girls to find a swimsuit that provides that extra support. Underwire and molded cups would have made it even more functional, but for the affordable $88 price it’s hard to complain about this stylish swimsuit too much.
