Spiegel brings fashion forward looks to women of all sizes with this Keyhole swimsuit from the Shape FX collection.
This range is all about flattering women, no matter what their shape. It’s an admirable goal, but not one that it’s altogether successful at achieving. Just because you offer a pair of swimmers in sizes four to 18 doesn’t mean that women at both ends of the spectrum will look good in them after all, particularly when there’s no difference in the approach.

The gentle shirring around the keyhole and the power-mesh in the lower half of the swimsuit do a good job at smoothing tummies and minimizing any lumps and bumps. But the thin cups do little to enhance the busts of girls on the small side. The plunging neckline will do wonders if you’re already curvy, but if not it’ll only draw attention to what’s lacking.
But this is a very stylish look if you’ve got the body for it. That keyhole is just a little bit cheeky, and the halter-neck design classic. The latter is particularly important if you hope to get more than a few summers from the swimsuit. The high quality material will make sure you can do just that.
I love the way this white swimsuit looks against the beautiful black skin of the model, and I can imagine it might seem just as fresh against my own sun kissed skin. However, it is unlined so if you’re modest you should probably opt for black; once it’s wet this suit will become transparent.
If you’ve got the body for it, this Spiegel swimsuit will turn heads on the beach for all the right reasons. Just don’t expect it to solve every problem simply because it comes from the Shape FX range.
