Tom Ford makes a real fashion statement with these striking Whitney sunglasses.
The dark brown frames resemble a figure eight or perhaps the symbol for infinity. Either way it’s like nothing I’ve seen on a pair of sunglasses. It might seem like a fashion risk to wear something so far out, and in some ways it is, but by refusing to bow to trends Tom Ford’s made sure the Whitney won’t date.
I love bikinis. My favorite place to shop for bikinis is Amazon. You'll find on Amazon a great variety of high quality bikinis. Many of them from recognized brands.
There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.
But there's 2 other ones that are great alternatives, the HYPERFIRE Women's Sexy Criss Cross Halter Bathing Suit and the CUPSHE Women's One Piece Swimsuit Sexy Deep V Neck Bathing Suit.
These unusual frames aren’t really made for their lenses though. Perhaps it’s a deliberate design choice to leave gaps near the bridge and temples, but I think it makes the Whitney look unfinished. It also raises safety concerns for me, as UV rays will easily pass through those sections not covered by the lenses.
It’s a shame considering that Tom Ford’s made sure the Whitney’s lenses offer 100% UV protection and brown tinting. That color choice is more than simply aesthetic; it also helps to reduce glare and sharpen contrast. That makes the Whitney great for driving and general use on the beach.
Personally for a whopping $415 I expect style and substance, but here it seems Tom Ford’s put fashion first. Does the Whitney’s unique appearance do enough to tempt you?
