British fashion retailer Topshop is doing its bit to promote sun protection with the release of three limited edition cover-ups.

There's one that has become my favorite, which is the ESONLAR Women's Sexy Plunging V Neck Bathing Suit. Mainly because it feels so smooth and soft and how well it flatters the body.

The printed kimono style tops make it cool to cover-up, so hopefully they’ll catch on amongst young fashionistas. Topshop takes the message beyond its stores though, with its pledge to donate £10 from the sale of each cover-up to the Teenage Cancer Trust’s Shunburn initiative. The annual program looks to raise awareness of sun protection practices, including the application of sunscreen and wearing cover-ups, hats, and sunglasses. The generous donations apply to all sales made before August 15. Topshop shoppers can also make a donation of as little as £1 to the charity via their online cart during the promotion period.
All too often teenagers spend their time on the beach pursuing a tan, so it’s refreshing to see a retailer offering a point of difference. Do you think Topshop’s sun smart campaign and cover-ups will catch on?
